These terms apply to information verification, tenant screening, employment verification, Red Flag analysis and private investigation services offered by Investigation Québec.
1. No guarantee of results
Investigation Québec provides verification and investigation services based on information submitted by the client and legally accessible sources. Results cannot be guaranteed.
2. Client responsibility
The client is responsible for providing accurate, complete and lawful information. Investigation Québec may refuse, suspend or terminate a request if the mandate appears abusive, unlawful, misleading or inappropriate.
3. Consent and lawful purpose
Certain verifications, including credit checks or employment-related checks, may require consent from the person concerned. Investigation Québec handles the consent process when applicable before conducting the relevant verification.
4. Privacy
Information submitted through our forms is used only to evaluate, process and document the requested mandate. Information is handled confidentially and is not sold.
5. Payments
Some services may require payment in advance. Fees may vary depending on the selected options, urgency, number of applicants or scope of work.
6. Legal compliance
Services are performed within applicable laws and regulations in Quebec and Canada. Investigation Québec does not perform unlawful surveillance, harassment, hacking, impersonation or unauthorized access to private systems.
7. Reports and limitations
Reports are prepared according to the information available at the time of review. A report is not a legal opinion and should not replace advice from a lawyer when legal decisions are involved.
